While the hand tracking API is available on AVP, you will need to manually detect select events (where on other browsers, this might be done for you), i.e. use the distance of the index and thumb tips for example.
The browser is currently handling color spaces inside the VR session a bit differently than in the 2D mode, which means that colors appear a bit pale.
@WebXREngine made optimizations specifically for iOS a few years ago and runs super smoothly on AVP. Without it, you will need to consider that the WebGL performance characteristics on AVP’s Safari are inherited from iOS/MacOS Safari.
