Wonderland Engine 1.5.3 - AR Templates and Bugfixes
New Zappar-based AR templates for Face Tracking, Image Tracking, and World Tracking.
This release also brings a few bug fixes and smaller quality of life improvements.
WebAR Templates
In this version, we added multiple Zappar-based WebAR templates. Learn more about how to use them in our “Building Mobile WebAR in Wonderland Engine with Zappar” Webinar. The following tracking methods are supported by one template each:
World Tracking
World (or “SLAM”) tracking is used to anchor 3D objects in space around the mobile camera:
Face Tracking
Face tracking is used to anchor 3D objects on human facial features like the nose, eyes, or mouth:
Image Tracking
Image tracking is used to anchor 3D objects on an image, which may be on a screen or print media (magazine, newspaper, poster):

- Scene View: Wrap cursor in panning and orbit mode to avoid losing view focus.
- Resources View: Fix tables not updating when duplicating or deleting a resource.
- Plugins View: Fix view not updating when clicking “Install” on the listed plugins.
- Allow specifying surplus lights spawned at runtime via
minLightsproject setting. - Add AR Face Tracking, Image Tracking and World Tracking templates based on Zappar.

- Fix rare bug in texture streaming that can cause crash when reading out of bounds.
